Pound Cake (aka Sponge vanilla cake)

There comes a time in a girl’s life when Betty Crocker’s cake mix doesn’t just cut it anymore! You crave for Osas’ yummy cake..

So since there’s no Osas to call for a quick small cake, you become your own Osas!

I discovered Chef Lola’s Kitchen a few weeks ago, she definitely seemed to know what she was doing so I decided to try some of her recipes. And when it seemed like I “get bele for cake” tried her pound cake recipe.

Ingredients
Simple pantry and in-your-fridge items.

I halved all the items, well ‘cos I didn’t want a huge cake and err just in case it didn’t turn out OK I wouldn’t have a lot to throw away.

I used a loaf pan (dimensions – 9″ x 5″).

Straight and easy to follow .

Timing: 60 minutes

To be double sure, the cake is ready when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
